In the month of January we had three to get baptized: Yazmin, Rodrigo, and Belen. Yazmin has attended our church for a few years now but had never publicly professed faith in Christ.

In the last prayer letter I wrote that we had a budget of $80,000 for the
new building, I spoke with the architects and told them to gut the project and explained to
them what we wanted.

We had another birthday this month. Madelyn celebrated her ninth birthday! It’s incredible to think that of her nine years she has lived over seven in South America. Also Emily is doing well in her pregnancy; as of right now she and the baby are doing great. If God wills, the baby will be born before our next prayer letter. Please pray for Emily, that God would protect her and the baby, and that the baby would be born without any complications.  

Last month one of my prayer points was for new families to be added to the church, and this month we have seen a large influx of visitors with many saying that want to be a part of our church!

I just returned from Arequipa, Peru, where I was invited to preach in Lighthouse Baptist Church’s missions conference. Pastor Juan Pacheco and the church were such gracious hosts.
