Furlough: It has been such a blessing to visit churches in the month of July. It is very encouraging to have people come up to me and tell me that they pray specifically for me and my family every day. In the month of July I have visited churches in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee, and for the very first time I visited a church in Indiana. For many of these churches this is the first visit we have made in 9 or 10 years. Praise God for churches that have faithfully supported us through deputation, language school, and our first term in Argentina
Family: Our oldest daughter Bethany turned 16 on July the 5th. We are so proud of and thankful for Bethany and her willingness to serve the Lord in the music ministry and nursery.
Victory Baptist: Victory had their annual Parents’ Banquet for the youth group this month. Also Victory had their 3rd annual youth conference. Andres Almada from La Plata came with his family and preached the conference. Many first time visitors came to the conference.
Faith Baptist: Faith had their very first youth conference the week after Victory had theirs. Brother Hector Campos brought a group of young men from Victory on the first night of the conference, and they provided special music. Missionary to Africa Jairo Valdiviezo came with his family and preached each night.
Prayer Points:
• Protection as we travel.
• Those training for the ministry as they start classes in August after their midwinter break.
• That the churches remain strong and grow during our furlough.
